I’m insisting that fall comes soon, so I chose to wear this amazing sweater, despite the fact that this “cold front” of 80 degree weather is laughing in my face with heat. I won this comfy cozy sweater from my good friend Stephanie, in a giveaway she was having over on her blog. She’s fabulous, as is her shop. I can’t wait until it actually is cold outside so I can get some more use of this baby. I have been dying for a sheer leopard print blouse, and when I found this one, I decided to splurge and get it. Thankfully it was on sale, and it is a bit big, but I don’t mind. I decided to rock this for the Bloggers Do It Better – Animal Instincts challenge, and I’m glad I did.

So far this week has been interesting. After celebrating my dad’s birthday on Sunday (thanks for the cake recommendation, Maggie!! It was amazing!!), my knee was being a jerk on Monday, and I ended up staying home from work. I am so looking forward to the half day of work on Friday, and Moon Festival on Saturday. Here’s to an exciting weekend!!

  1. So pretty! I’m getting very impatient about not having any leopard print in my closet. You look so sophisticated in it. However, I’m thrifting this week so hopefully I’ll find some!

  2. I love this sweater! When I saw that you won Steph’s giveaway and that you chose this sweater I was so excited because it’s a beauty! I also love the way you layered it over your sheer leopard blouse. It’s like a match made in heaven! xo

  3. This outfit is AWESOME! I don’t think I would ever think to pair a sunny yellow with animal print but I love this! Very inspiring :)

And how about those Old Navy jeans? I LOVE mine!

  4. Kirstin Marie, you are truly looking beautiful in this post! You own that red lipstick and that animal print top is amazing! I love how I derive so much inspiration from your outfit posts. I’m so glad I found your blog! :)

  5. Hey! The manner in which you have layered your leopard is inspirational. Yellow isn’t a color I ever considered with leopard but clearly I should! The fringed bag is spectacular! Love the red lip too!!

  6. I’ve been pushing my limits with sweaters and pants so far this Fall, you’re not alone.
I like this layering! It’s something different (in a good way!)

Glad you had a good weekend! :)
