Prabal Gurung for Target

PG4Target
Are you loving all of these designer collabs with Target lately? I’m really looking forward to the newest collaboration, Prabal Gurung for Target, which launches February 10th (that’s in 12 days people!). It will be available in sizes 2 – 16, and sizes XS – XL. If you have some time, check out the video featured on Target’s site. I love what Prabal has to say about this project – “The reason I wanted to do this collaboration with Target was to offer what I do to a wider audience, and I want to make clothes that make women look beautiful. My job as a designer is to do that. One thing I kept on coming back to was the idea of love, whether it’s having it, pining for it, losing it, wanting it. Most of the collection that I do has been inspired by love. If they can feel even a little bit of the love that I felt while I was designing this, I’ll consider it a job well done.”

I’m loving all of the bright colors, bold prints, and unique shapes in this collection. The blue dress below is one of my absolutely favorites. I cannot wait to try it on. The fluorescent yellow heels are definitely going on my Spring/Summer Must Haves list!

I NEED that blazer! Bummed that I’ll be travelling the day it comes out so hoping I can order a couple sizes online to try on.

But you’re mistaken about Missoni starting the designer collections at Target! They’ve been doing collections from designers for years, under the name Go International. They’ve had Jason Wu, Luelle, Tara Jarmon, Thakoon, Tucker, etc. Pieces from those collections are still in my closet YEARS later!

From what I read on Target’s FB page, sizing will be 2-16 and XS-XL. I’ll check it out, particularly the tops and maybe some of the dresses and skirts, if there are full/skater cuts. I can fit some 16s.

  17. Kara says:

Looking very much forward to this collab. I definitely want some things from it, those ankle strap pumps for starters. Can’t decide which color though!

  18. Marlen says:

i’m usually a little disappointed with the collabs because i feel like they dial down their creativity so more people would be into it. howeverrr his looks pretty cute. i really like the floral pieces- they’re so fun and loud
