I snatched this adorable polka dot dress up from my friend Steffy’s shop earlier this year. I like how versatile it is, even in this crazy Florida weather. It’s definitely become one of my favorite go-to vintage dresses, and I often have to tell myself to not wear it as much as I’d like to (otherwise it would be all you see!). Check out how I styled this dress into these three different looks below.
During the summer it was insanely, ridiculously hot. We are talking well over 95 degrees of hot, humid Florida sun. Though this dress is a bit short for me personally, I decided to rock it with a cute pair of shorts underneath (you can’t see them in the photo), my favorite white JS Dany’s, a mustard belt, and a vintage bag my mom gave me.
I literally felt like a Barbie wearing this outfit. I wanted to live in the barbie town house I owned from the late 80s (you know the one with the elevator in the middle that you had to pull with a string, and it had like 3 or 4 floors?). Mixing these two colors made me seriously happy, and tossing on a pair of salmon socks and funky mary janes really completed this look.
With the weather starting to cool off, I really wanted to wear this dress again, but threw on these beautiful navy tights to make it a bit more modest. I added a vintage cardigan, vintage dooney & burke bag, and a pair of nude loafers to finish off this outfit.
Fashion Tip: Don’t be afraid of something that seems like it’s too short. You can always work around it by adding key pieces like tights, leggings, a skirt, or even shorts to make yourself feel more comfortable and happy with your look.

Eeek! I have the same problem with short things, my height comes from my torso so It’s hard to get dresses to actually cover my bum hehe! Shorts underneath is an excellent idea!
That first photo is so dreamy <3

Every single look is adorable!!
You look great in this dress…and it shows that you love it
I agree with you about the length…a good pair of opaque tights is my go-to solution when I think my dress/skirt is too short…
XOXO
I love when you wear it with the skirt and the pumps with socks.
