I used to spend my summers playing in the pool, using my “skip-it” up and down the street, going on bike rides, playing neighborhood games, and munching on apples & peanut butter – or as my brother & I called it, our “after pool snack”. When the storms would come I would get excited and run outside, play in the rising water and climb trees to be closer to the rain drops. That is, until my mom would yell for me to come inside because it was dangerous. Sometimes I miss the innocence of summer as a child.

I miss the innocence of summer as a child too. I used to go to the pool all the time and look forward to the slides and the yummy snacks! Anyways, these photos are absolutely beautiful! I love the hazy effect from the sun. You look so cheerful and that dress is so pretty!

I think this is my favorite outfit of yours! I’m obsessed with that dress. The length is perfect for you, too. So sweet and short but not too short. Polka dots are always great.
I love these photos! The light is so pretty- and so is the dress! Glad you like the necklace
How cute is that dress!? The color is so pretty on you!
Kirsten, for me, summer always meant long days spent in the library, swim classes, hula hoop contests, and tennis! How I miss those days! You look lovely in this dress! The color is simply perfect for this season!
Oh my yes….so very true! I miss summer’s spent at my grandmother’s exploring the woods and catching fireflies. I have to say those shoes are Wowser!!!! Some serious beauties for certain. I love the dress on you too – pleats, polka dots, pussy bows – I don’t think it gets anymore perfect:) xx Marisa
love the polka dots and the belt you paired with the dress!

Let me tell you, I was so into skip it as a child as well. The only bad part is i was left footed (that makes sense, right?) so the rotation went backwards, meaning the cool counter counted backwards and not forwards like all the other kids!
ANYWAYS.
This looks is so cute. Digging the dress, and those shoes are amazing.
xoxo Mama Wolf.
oh, your collection of lovely dresses is impressive
you look fabulous, and I love your pictures! ♥
Love the polka dots!
I love your dress with the belt, it looks awesome!
And yeah. I’m 16, but I kind of miss the whole uninhibited summer-ness of summer. I think one day this summer, I’m just going to pretend I’m 7 and go climb trees and eat ice cream from those ice cream venders and pick flowers and pet random dogs and just have fun and have a classic summer day of swimming and food and stuff (and lemonade.)
You have amazing style! I’m following!!

That dress is beautiful! I want it to be a blouse and in my wardrobe because it is the most amazing thing ever!
I remember the innocence of childhood summers. I currently live right behind a swim club and all summer I can hear the joyful cheers of children from the pool. It is nice to remember how fun and free those summers were.
These beautiful photos really exude that summery feeling. Fabulous dress! xo
Love the dreamy quality of these photos, you look beautiful!
I miss the lazy pool days of my childhood, sigh…
