When I was younger, there was nothing I loved more than the sound of rain on the roof, the rumbling of the thunder in the distance, and the crackle of lighting as it shot across the sky. As an adult, I still find a rain storm to be the most soothing time of the day, though it does make going out a little less fun. My favorite is when the sky is so absolutely dark it looks like night time, and just when you think it couldn’t get any darker, the entire world turns neon blue as giant bolts of lightning light up the sky. It’s exciting, scary, relaxing, & sometimes frustrating all at the same time. I do wish it was storming right now. I would love to sit on my porch with a hot cup of tea and just watch the storm clouds roll in and feel the wind pick up speed. The anticipation of a storm is most thrilling.
Such an adorable outfit. I love that vintage dress. The print is absolute perfection. We have been getting lots of rain here too, but I’m glad to see the wet weather doesn’t discourage cute outfits!

Kirstin, I love the sound of the rain at night when I’m in bed. It helps lull me to sleep! And may I say this is the first time ever that I’ve seen a fashion post in the rain? I love it! So totally you! This dress is stunning. I love how you’ve paired with the knee high boots and the belt adds a special touch.
This dress is so great and I too love the sound of rain. But it sure puts a damper on my style.

I’m totally the opposite. I can’t stand thunderstorms! I get super scared whenever I hear thunder or see lightning! I love snow, though! And can just sit around looking at it fall forever!
