It has been an amazing weekend. Being able to sleep in past 6am feels like a dream come true, and a full three days of it? Yes please. While it was nice to have some sun, it was so incredibly hot that I was sweating like a crazy woman during these photos, and I was only outside for about 10 minutes or so. I don’t mind when it’s warm & toasty outside, but hot & humid is not my favorite combination.
This isn’t a dress I’d usually go for. I’m not one for strapless & a ton of ruffles, but here’s to living on the wild side, eh? This dress totally shocked me when I tried it on that I had to snatch it up. Do you like my highlighter yellow nails? They made me so incredibly excited Saturday night after I painted them, that I wished they also glowed in the dark (like highlighters do). Wouldn’t that be a fun treat?!? Neon, glow in the dark, highlighter nail polish?? YES!!

Kirstin Marie, I’m not one for ruffles either but I have to say that they totally work in this dress. It’s such a lovely fit! Red is your color, lady! And the nails! Groovy! Just groovy!
