Kara from Sprinkles in Springs sent me a few photos to see if I could recreate the looks, as a suggestion for Beauty Thursday. I chose to attempt tackling this look, worn so nicely by the lovely Megan Fox.

Mind you, she has a much more porcelain skin tone than I do, but I do think I did an alright job.

Here are the products I used & how I achieved this look:

From left to right:
Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in Chestnut, Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in nude, make up for ever uplight 22, Smashbox photofinish primer, L’Oreal Kohl pencil in black, Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion, Urban Decay curling mascara, Urban Decay lip primer, Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Rose, Cover Girl Lip liner in rose.
Not shown:
Urban Decay Virgin Eyeshadow (from Naked Palette), e.l.f. pinkish blush, light pink sparkly lip gloss.
Step 1: Apply foundation primer all over face.
Step 2: Mix tinted moisturizer foundation with a small (& I mean small) amount of make up for ever uplight. Apply all over face. Dab small amounts of uplight on cheekbones, forehead, & chin. Be sure not to apply too much! Just the right amount gives you a glow, too much makes you look crazy shiny.

Step 3: Line both lid & waterline with kohl pencil.

Step 4: Smudge kohl eyeliner with smudge brush, and form a soft winged eye. I like using kohl eyeliner for smudging, as it smudges smoothly & evenly, and is really easy to work with.

Step 5: Apply UD Virgin to inner corners of eyes. Blend.

Step 6: Apply mascara.

Step 7: Apply blush on apples of cheeks. Blend. Don’t forget to smile!

Step 8: Apply lip primer. Give it a little time to soak into your lips.
Step 9: Apply lip liner. I like to line my lips and then fill them in.
Step 10: Apply lipstick & then gloss over top of the lipstick.
That’s it!!

How do you think I did with this look? I’m open to feedback!

I think you did a great job, it looks amazing! I should try out some of your tutorials, I suck at makeup.
Love the recreation of the Megan Fox look … looks great on you!
You know, I’ve never used kohl like that before. I just use it to set cream liner or for a very subtle smokey eye, but never winged like this!
I am oh so thrilled to win your awesome giveaway! Such a great thing to wake up to

You are pretty good with that eyeliner. I have trouble drawing a wing, much less smudging one out!
i think your eye makeup is great, Kirstin! happy weekend.
Yes, I think it’s spot on! Do you have an olive undertone to your skin? I have olive undertones…but am not tan to say the least. Just wondering because I adore that blush color on you. I have the hardest time finding a blush that works for me, so I usually just stick with a very light bronzer. You are gorgeous Kristin!
Looking good Kirstin!
Lovely blog.

Great job with the make-up. I think the most difference between the photos is actually the colour of the eyes, she has piercing, light eyes, whereas yours are warm and dark.
You did this so well
xoxo ♥
You look gorgeous, love the whole look!

Foxy lady!

Yay! I love this picture- glad you chose it. The blush is so pretty and I really need to teach myself how to do eyeliner like that. Now I have no excuse since you showed me how!
I think she’s got on a lot more illuminatior than you do, I know you didn’t wanna look greasy/shiny. Also the camera flash being so bright I’m sure adds for that look. It also looks like her blush goes more up towards her temples as well and of course she’s got on falsies. Other than that I think you did a great job translating this glam look to a beautiful everyday accessible version.
