While Shannon was down, we met up with Kara, and hit up some of our favorite consignment & thrift shops. Shannon made out like a bandit with her vintage Dooney & Burke cross body bag (with adorable tassels!), vintage coach wallet, and vintage Prada wallet (all for under $40 in total!!). Here’s what I scored (minus one item – it’s a surprise for someone special!!):
I adore this red dress. When I first spotted it, I laughed about it looking a little silly with Kara. The magic happened when I decided to try it on. With a belt, this simple red tent dress turns into a gorgeous a-line dress – complete with pockets!! I love the neckline detail.
When I found this top (sorry the picture is fuzzy), I squealed like a little girl. Mostly because it is 1) Tory Burch, and 2) cost a whopping $18. Amazing.
This jacket I went out on a limb for. I love the neckline of it once it’s on (it stands up, and has a similar silhouette as a 60s jacket), and the large buttons. I think this one will be both fun & challenging to style.
You will definitely see these pieces in outfit posts soon. I’ve been so tired lately, but barely sleeping!! Strange. Hopefully that will change soon!
