I’m a HUGE fan of Halloween. It’s kind of ridiculous. You better believe that I decorate my house with creepy cloth, skulls, dark candles & candle sticks, stone gargoyles…the works! I still try to find reasons to dress up every year – even if I have no place to go. Back in high school, my friend Erika & I watched every single scary/horror movie that Blockbuster had during the month of October. Ever since I can remember I’ve had a love for all things creepy – books, movies, art work, music, clothing, costumes, plays. In honor of my most favorite holiday & time of year, I’m holding a very special sale in my shop. From now until midnight of October 31st, everything is 50% off with the code HALLOWEEN50!!!
On top of my super awesome fun sale at Felina & Dandall, I wanted to give you my ultimate list of scary & unsettling films to watch (if you are into that sort of thing, of course) for this time of year. Some are classics, and some are more modern:
What are your favorite horror flicks?

oh, man. i love me some halloween! i’m at such a loss this year for my costume, though. here’s hoping an idea pans out soon!
That is an AMAZING sale! I’ll be shopping for sure!!! I absolutely adore Halloween, also. My favorite movies to watch this time of year are the SAW franchise!
Great Halloween pics…the first is super cute:)

very cute childhood photo, dear.
Such awesome pictures!
Halloween is soo much fun and I’m a huge fan of scarey movies. The Shining is definitely at the top of my list – I still can’t sit through the entire move at once! LOL
I’m liking Halloween more and more as I get older because of the dressing up part! hahaha. I am still such a pussycat with horror movies, and cringe just at the thought of them. Being raised Catholic, the Exorcist scared the dickens out to me when I was a kid. I’ve only seen it once, and will NEVER see it again.

Excited for our movie night- have to think of a costume too! I was trying to think of some movies to watch- I just saw Vanishing on 7th St last night- really creepy!!!
That first picture is precious!! I totally share your love for Halloween. I’ve been adding a new Halloween decoration to our place almost daily. It could be a little out of hand by the 31st! Thanks for the list of movies. My boyfriend and I have been saying we should take in a good horror flick and there are a few on your list I haven’t seen. xo
Loving your Halloween photos! One of my favorite movies this time of year isn’t even a horror its Disney’s good old Hocus Pocus!
I love Halloween, I feel as if I got more involved in it when I became older. Love your photos, especially the gingerbread house.
i love the creepy cell block tango! looking forward to halloween now.
that pic of you and your bff from back in the day is absolute perfection.
You are insanely awesome.
Kirstin Marie, these photos are just darling! I love Halloween. I always have and as I get older, I find I continue to enjoy it. It’s definitely a night for scary movie watching and while I’ve seen most of the movies on your list, I have not seen Stephen King’s Red Rose. I’ll definitely have to check that one out!
What a fun crown!

Awe what a cute photo the first one is!!!! OMG til this day I am so scared of The Exorcist movie, but LOVE Halloween. It’s one of my favorite holidays!!
xoxo
I love the vintage pic of you – adorable! And The Ring is the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. I seriously had to sleep with the lights on for a month after seeing that. I’m such a scaredy-cat when it comes to movies. I agree with The Exorcist and The Shining – they were really good adaptions of the books.
