It’s almost October. Hopefully, the weather is cooling down, and thoughts of autumn are setting in. Golds, burgundys, whiskey browns, and deep plums, amongst many others, are on the horizon. October is one of my most favorite months. Why? Well, Halloween of course!! Plus, I get to wear the rich autumnal colors that I love so much. I’d been tossing around the idea of starting to wear black polish. I mean, it is October and all, and I do love me some black polish. When I went to purchase some (all of mine have run out), I just wasn’t happy with the idea. Instead, I ended up taking home this delightful plum color, Carry On, by Essie. It’s fantastic. From far away it gives me the black polished look I love, but from up close it’s a beautiful plum that can be worn with pretty much any color.
What colors are you looking forward to wearing this fall?
I like the color range of Essie’s and how they polish. lately I’ve been wearing neutrals earth tones mixed with golden/bronze polishes.

Love this color. I’ve had my eye out for a rich chocolate polish but haven’t found anything that I really like.. everything seems very coppery. I have black polish on now though for the first time this fall and I’m loving it.

What an absolutely beautiful color! The darker shades are perfect for fall and I wish I had started exploring them earlier. I just bought myself my first bottle of navy polish. I was always too afraid to wear dark colors on my nails because it looked “weird” to me. I’ve always stuck with pinks and clear coats. But now I’m adding this pretty plum color to my list! It’s just too pretty to pass up!

this is such a perfect fall nail color! i just bought one the other day by the same brand called ‘mink muffs’. i’m excited to try it out. i may have to go back and get a bottle of this lovely shade as well.

I love deep plums and dark navy for Fall. I prefer the look of dark colours on my nails so fall makes me a happy girl. And isn’t Essie just the best!?!?! It’s hard to believe October is only a day away but I’m not complaining. I must start planning my Halloween costume asap! Happy Friday! xoxo

I’ve been hearing so, so much about Carry On! It looks gorgeous on you! I have a similar color from last year’s winter collection (called Masquerade Belle), but it’s a bit more reddish, a little less plum. This one is perfect for fall!
