One of the neatest thing I’d ever heard in my life was about Scott’s grandfather, Jerry Anderson. He was brilliantly intelligent. In fact, he was, at his time, a renowned neuro-surgeon. Before he gave his life to medicine, he was an olympian. He competed in the olympics for swimming in Puerto Rico & Tokyo in 1961, 1964, and 1979. We are so lucky to have two of his achievement plaques in our hallway. Every time I pass by them, I look at them, and just marvel in Jerry’s accomplishments.
I was fortunate enough to meet Jerry just a few years before he passed away. He was such a sweet, caring, and incredibly intelligent man. I was so excited to meet an olympian! I know that may sound silly, but when you think about all the training, the hard work and effort that goes into becoming such an incredible athlete, you can see where my excitement came from. Scott’s grandfather was and is definitely one the people that impacted my life, though he did not know it.

Oh my gosh, I can’t imagine ever being either an olympic athlete OR a renowned neuro-surgeon…let alone BOTH!! That’s so cool! Also, I love the red accessories in your first photo
I have the utmost respect for Olympians…and those hot red pumps!
Your shoes and your hair are AWESOME
Wish I can, but whenever I try, the hair falls down!
How did you get it up ?
Check out my new post if you have time

I think it’s neat you knew an Olympian. Must look him up on Google. Your heels are seriously fierce and sets off the outfit nicely.

I think it would be VERY exciting to meet an Olympian! I trained and raced earlier this year and I havesuch respect for athletes. It takes so much effort ad discipline to succeed. It would be interesting to hear first Hand of someone’s experience.
