Me & My Dad
We had a small birthday celebration for Nicole on Tuesday evening. I had to snap tons of photos, because taking pictures is fun. It was a mixed celebration, sort of a birthday/good luck wishes for an upcoming surgery. I realized as I was editing these photos, that I hadn’t shared many photos with you of my parents. So, in light of that, here they are!
This is my beautiful momma, Kerry. She’s awesome. She practices reiki & holistic healing. She also is the one who gave Scott & me our awesome salt rock lamp & white rock lamp. They really help with balancing energies. I’ve learned so much from her, and she’s opened my mind up to many, many different things. She’s truly my best friend.
This is my handsome dad, Donald. He’s pretty awesome. He works for a Nigerian Airline, but is finally based out of the U.S. Last year, he worked in Nigeria, and it was rough times. Thanks to my dad, I know how to tell time from a traditional clock, I’m well traveled, responsible, punctual, and very organized. My dad is really goofy, but is a lot of fun, and really smart. He’s very fun to fly with.
This is my parents’ wedding photo, in my mother’s parents’ house backyard in Long Island, NY. I love this picture. My dad looks so handsome, and my mom looks so beautiful.
There you have it, my family in a little compact nutshell. I will be spending some time in the hospital Wednesday evening & most of Thursday, so I promise I will respond to all of your amazing comments on Friday. Don’t worry, I am fine, someone in my family is having surgery, don’t fret, my lovelies!!
