One of the things I love about living in the sunshine state is how many beautiful beaches we have to chose from. Though it is insanely hot this time of year, MJ, Kara & I chose to do a super fun photo shoot at this lovely little park/beach. We were lucky to find a not very crowded area (the bulk of the park was crazy crowded!!) for our shoot. I think we spent the entire time laughing and taking tons of photos. I am so happy to have found such amazing friends in these two beautiful ladies. We are like peas in a pod!
Trying to shoot a successful jumping shot of us was seriously hilarious. We must have tried at least ten times before we decided to call it quits and move onto something else. I think MJ looks amazing in her jump shot!!
We tried and had so much fun (aside from being super hot and icky sweaty (I know, I know)).
I’ve definitely fallen in love with group photo shoots. It is so much fun and incredibly inspiring to mix up different photography styles. The photos turn out so much better than when shooting alone. I think group photo shoots are going to happen more often!!
I saw this grafitti, if you will, on a large pipe that once served a purpose on the beach. I felt so drawn to it. “One Earth” really screams to us that we are all together in this life. We are all fighting for the same thing. Yes, each person is important in their own way, but when you look at us compared to the billions of people on this planet, we are all just tiny little footprints in the sand. We are here, we fought, we loved, and we will leave, as our footprints do when the shore comes and wipes the beach clean. Why not be joined together to strengthen ourselves, our bonds with one another? It’s what it’s about, and I couldn’t be happier to be joined together with people like MJ, Kara, and all of you.
I LOVE the jump shots. How special this is to see you all together. I love the way that you’ve made florals and pinks look so modern & even with pearls.
I love the black/brown combo. MJ & Kara’s hats are also lovely.
I LOVE IT!!!!! The Jumping animation is bananas! I think with enough practice we can nail that shot! LOL!!
