I recently saw this amazing short film for Magnum Ice Cream on Kristy’s Blog (Full Time Fabulous). I have to say I really enjoyed it. Rachel Bilson is featured in the film during a photo shoot, and goes to take a break for a second to enjoy an ice cream bar. She has the biggest, best smile while enjoying her ice cream, regardless that it is a little messy. This got me to thinking about, well, ice cream. Have you ever noticed that no one eats ice cream angrily? People turn to ice cream when they are unhappy or depressed because it is comforting. People turn to ice cream when they are angry. People turn to ice cream when they are happy or excited. Something about ice cream just makes you feel better. Whether you are 3 years old or 90 years old, when you have that frosty, colorful, melting treat in your hand, a smile comes to your face. There’s just something about it…

Ice cream is an icon of fun, excitement, good times, summer time, laughter, and so much more. Plus, it’s one of the best summer time & spring time treats out there. Oh, heck. It’s great any time! Ice cream is so much fun, they even have ice cream for dogs, and they love it too (Randall is a huge fan. His favorite is peanut butter flavored). My favorite flavor would have to be chocolate peanut butter. Such a sinful combination, but quite delicious!

Just saw the video on Kristys blog, I really liked it too! Funny, Bilson came across differently than I imagined her! Much nicer and approachable. I love the chanel dress she was wearing at the premier as well. (as well as your polka dot one)
chocolate peanut butter is the best flavor hands down….i really wish ice cream was one of the 5 food groups because i love it that much:)
That photo of the little girl is the best! I’m lactose intolerant, so I can’t eat ice cream, but frozen yogurt is fine (thank god). Not as many flavor options, but my favorite would have to be coffee heath. Mmm… now I want some, even though it’s cold and rainy out.

i’m so glad you liked the short film for Magnum! I thought it was really cute too and I loved having something fashion-related to tell you guys about that also had to do with the tribeca film festival! how could i not share that?! hehehe.

My favorite ice cream is Tillamook chocolate peanut butter or Marionberry pie. Tillamook is made just an hour away from me! If you ever come to Oregon, that’s where we are going.

So, believe it or not, I’m one of the rare freaks of nature who actually doesn’t really like ice cream! Weird, right?? Growing up, my family would always go to Dairy Queen after our weeknight church service and while everyone else enjoyed Blizzards and ice cream cones, I was eating French fries!! hahaha!
Cute dress, lady! I just realized that since I cleaned out my closet about a month or so ago, I don’t have any polka dots!! Crazy!
I love ice cream. It’s my favorite food. I have a whole list of favorite flavors lol. Lately I cna’t get enough of this raspberry chocolate chip cheesecake ice cream from a local diner. It is so good, and not overpowering.

I’ll admit that I only like the summertime because of the fact that I get to chase down ice cream trucks every couple of blocks. Hands down, my favorite chilled dessert!!

Love your polkadottiness! I love ice cream too but it doesn’t really love me due to lactose issues. But recently I found that Chapman’s makes a lactose free ice cream that is incredible! They are also one of the only companies that is fully nut-free! And they are family owned…
