Keds HDYD Design Contest

My Keds HDYD Design, “Summer Fun”
I am really excited to announce that I have entered the Keds HDYD Design Contest. Above is my sneaker that I designed. To enter the competition, I had to create a design for the Keds Champion based on what inspires me about my city. The winner will receive $1,000 and a $5,000 donation to a local arts-based charity of their choice. I think this is such a fun contest, with such an amazing prize, and the opportunity to donate five big ones to an arts-based charity. Working in the arts, I know how difficult it can be to have funding and to obtain funding, so I had to jump into this. This hit close to home for me, I remember having to struggle with budget cuts in the arts while in school, and personally, I feel it is SO important for our children, people in general, to learn about the arts, to gain knowledge, to have the chance to participate. It really creates such an appreciation and a well-rounded being. I would absolutely love it if you would please come on over and take the time to vote for my design.
You can vote for my design (pictured above), here, at the Keds HDYD Design Gallery.
Thank you so much!!

This is such a great contest and I love your entry!

Here’s how I do my hair…To get this look on a daily basis you can ask your hair dresser for a body wave (this is basically a loose perm). That’s what I have. Then everyday I use Bed Head’s Foxy Curls Cream in wet hair. Basically just scrunch it into your hair and dry on low, then I pick it out a litte and sometimes brush the ends! It’s less complicated than it sounds but I couldn’t get the look without the body wave. And thanks for your compliments!
