In a continuing celebration of Fashion Beauty Friend Fridays’ one year anniversary, we are answering the same set of questions that was asked one year ago. These questions are new for me, since I was not yet blogging when these questions were asked and answered.

1. Which celebrity (celebrities) do you look to for fashion inspiration?
I don’t really look to a specific celebrity for fashion inspiration, per say. I will take bits and pieces of what I see around as being popular, and decide what will work and pertain to me and my style.
2. When it comes to your own personal style, what inspires you?
I love flowy dresses with edgy accents. I have a few bloggers that really hit the nail on the head with this type of style, and they really serve as huge inspirations to me. I like to be comfortable, but feel good about myself at the same time. I also absolutely adore period attire, corsets, and all of that amazingness.

3. How do you hope to inspire your readers?
I hope that my readers can look at me and see how I am dressing my body, and hope that they will see that fashion and style is for everyone with all different body types, and that you can make almost anything work for you, you just have to try.
4. Outside the realm of fashion who/what inspires you?
Art, dance, music, photography, and nature.

5. And since Idol is ending… Which songs inspire you?
I do not watch Idol, so I will just got with something that has inspired me since I discovered it in Symphony as a child. This song, although it sounds very eerie, is so powerful and I can feel it when I listen to it. I adored playing it in Symphony. Please take a listen to the marvelous, powerful, and strong: Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, The Montagues and The Capulets.

I LOVE going to museums and checking out period style dresses! They are very inspiring and I agree that art, dance, and photography can be great sources of inspiration. At the end of the day they are just different ways of expressing creativity and in the end, that’s what fashion is all about!
Wow that first photo is amazing! I wasn’t around for the first round either
I am so happy to see someone who actually does not watch “American Idol.” I think we should be best friends.

I love your answers! For some reason I can’t get Youtube to work for me right now so I’ll have to bookmark the video and try again later. But I love that picture of the period costumes! I’m over the moon about period dress, there’s so much to love. Do you ever watch the miniseries shows on PBS Masterpiece Classic? There’s one on now, it’s ending this Sunday actually, called Upstairs Downstairs that I was thinking of posting about because it has some amazing costumes. (:
What a gorgeous post!!! The first dress is just amazing! I love your blog and now following! Maybe you’ll have time to visit my blog:)
