Friend Friday: Fitness & Fashion

Here are the questions, for your reading pleasure:

1. Do you keep some kind of fitness routine? Why?
2. Has working out, maybe training for a marathon or something of that nature, helped with your own perception of body image?
3. When you are hitting the gym or just going out for a long walk what do you wear? Is it about functionality or fashion?
4. Do you feel there is a cultural perception of what you ‘should’ be doing for your own physical fitness?
5.  Dream big… what would be your ultimate fitness goal.

    Hi Kirstin,
What nice to do a video. It is my first time hearing you.
I also think that there are many presumptions if you do not follow what is popular or socially accepted. Kuddos to everyone who manages to live by their own (fitness) rules. Have a great weekend!

  3. Marissa says:

I won’t be able to watch this until I get home from work, but it will be so fun to hear your voice for the first time! :)

  4. Kirstin!! After tweeting together and reading each other’s blogs, I now feel like I REALLY know you getting to hear your voice and everything! Thanks for the vlog!! Also, thanks for being so real and transparent! :) I appreciate authenticity SO MUCH! You will get there! Keep working hard and know it takes time to reach your goals!

  9. Great answers, I actually started wearing my pedometer again last week and have been so motivated by it. Today I did a 9 hour shift at work in the pub and did 12,500 steps!! Mad!

  10. I’m so bad at sticking to a fitness schedule. I sometimes to Wii Fitness, but it’s so hard to stay motivated after working a full day.

I’m late seeing this, but I love seeing & hearing you talk in your own voice, instead of just reading typed words. You’re even more adorable in video than you are in your still photos! :)

  14. Kara says:

Yay for videos! Seems like fun and you really get to know someone much better that way, but I think I’d feel too weird lol! You’re so brave- thatnks for sharing! (That pedometer looks cool!)
