I am so excited that I FINALLY am able to do cat eyes/winged eye liner, thanks to this amazing tutorial by Tahti. I have been dying to learn how to do these for so long, and have tried so many different ways. I just love how very vintage it looks, so very sultry 1960s. Tahti has very similar eyes to mine, so when I saw her tutorial on twitter, I flew to my mirror and began following the steps. I think, for my first time, they came out pretty good. Here’s what I used:
Eye Makeup:
Sharon B Ombre Shadow in Puff
Maybelline Define-A-Lash in Very Black
MAC Brow Pencil in Lingering (Not Pictured)
Brushes:
Face & Lips: (Not Pictured)
Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain in Twilight
Do you like the cat eye or winged eyeliner look? Would you wear it?

It makes your eyes look so BIG! This look is very similar to what girls were wearing in high school…many years ago. I learned to do this and applying the eyeliner was the most time-consuming part of getting ready for the day. It required a very steady hand.
I am a fan of cat eye make up since I saw Alexa Chung rocking it! I tried it a couple of times, but now I know why I fail: I use the “traditional” eye liner!!! And after seeing your post (and another blog post) I realize that I have to buy the MAC eyeliner in a pot

SO glam, I love it! I do a winged liquid liner for my day to day, but I might have to switch it up and try this out. Looks amazing on you
Love it! Cat eyes are my fave look to sport, they are just so classy!

MEOW! It takes me like 45 minutes to do that, and it doesn’t look half as lovely. Well done!
loving the cat eyes.. nice work!
Aaah, you did such an amazing job! I really want to copy this tomorrow. I usually just do winged eyeliner on the top; I use a liquid liner from Urban Decay and I can never seem to get it straight under my eyes. My bottom lashes get in the way if that makes any sense at all.
And I’m glad to see someone else using the Sonia Kashuk brushes – I’m in desperate need of a proper set and I’ve heard wonderful things about hers.
I love winged liner! It’s such a fun look
I love this look! I’ve been wanting to wear it for so long but I just can’t seem to get it right.
