I am Chrissy from Chrissy in America.
The fabulous and stylish Kirstin and I have agreed on doing guest posts on each others
blogs today! So, while I am over here to meet all her lovely readers, she is over at my place!
First of all, it is very nice to meet you all! I hope you enjoy my little post here today!
After I started blogging last September and meeting lots of creative and inspiring bloggers out there,
I kind of re-discovered my crafty side!
Having moved to the States 2,5 years ago from Germany and being a Mom, volunteering a lot,
being a Brownie Girl Scout leader and part of the PTO at my daughter’s school, I never really
took the time to create something! And I used to really love it!
But seeing all of these creative blogs made me head right over to Joann’s and Michael’s whip out those
coupons and stock up on all kinds of materials!
One of the things I created were these little fellas:

The feedback was so great, that I decided to open my very own Etsy shop,
Whimsical Poppysmic in December!
I also love to knit
I make headbands
And earwarmers
And I love doing embroidery
It is just so much fun to create new things!
Sometimes I am overflowing with ideas!
If only I had the time to sit down and do something
whenever I wanted! ha
I have already had a few custom orders which are especially fun, because
the customer knows exactly what he wants and I get to create it
for him!
