You would not believe that I took these pictures at 6pm. The lighting is so over exposed, and I’m sorry for that. This dress was one of the pieces I scooped up at Modcloth’s Cabin Fever Sale last month. I adore it! It is so comfortable, and I think it fits pretty well. I was honestly a bit concerned that it would be too short, but with tights, this dress is perfect. I’m so happy I got it. I love bargain shopping. It’s just one of the things that makes me so excited. I think the best deal I got was this Michael Kors dress at Macys. It was originally $100.00, marked down to $80, and then further marked down to $40. I figured it was cute for $40, but when I went to the register, it rang up at $8.00!!! I remember saying to the cashier, “Really? That’s awesome!!”

My best deal ever was a skirt that was regularly $50 and it was marked down to $9.99. But when I got it to the till it scanned as 1 cent! Brilliant Penny Skirt!

About a year ago I moved and now there’s not a Macy’s for three hours’ drive! It’s terrible. Luckily we have TJ Maxx and Marshalls. I shop their clearance racks a lot and get great deals. I recently got a little short-sleeved embellished cardigan by Cynthia Rowley for all of $7. (:

I love the dress and the story behind your best bargain. My best bargain was going to Plato’s Closet and getting a real Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 bag for $25. I looked at the cashier like they were crazy for marking it so low, but i still got it
