I think I’ll have that next time instead of pudding

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. These pictures are actually from this past Sunday, when Scott & I went to Fern Forest to take some pictures with my new camera. I have been spending time with Scott since he’s had evenings off of work, and tonight we went to my family’s house for my birthday dinner. This is a picture heavy post!!


We are in love with Fern Forest. It is a glorious park, relatively close to our house (within walking distance, if you are up for a good hike), and it’s completely free to get in.

We decided to come here to test out my new camera, courtesy of myself. Scott was my model after my outfit  photo shoot.
I also met some lovely new friends in the park! A pretty flower (actually a weed, but I loved it’s detail)
A friendly fluttering butterfly…
And this little guy, who was completely unafraid! I admire his courage. He was literally two feet from me!
One last picture, from my birthday tonight…please excuse the candids of my family (the look a bit sleepy, although, I LOVE my fathers’ face!!!)

    Fern forest is a lovely place! I did some volunteer work there a few years back! Love the denim skirt by the way!
