Today, still feeling sick, I wanted to do nothing but lounge around the house (hence the sans make up, glassy eyed look in these photos). Instead, Scott & I cleaned the entire house from top to bottom, ran some errands, grabbed some food, and now we are back home and doing laundry. I am so tired. Folding laundry does not sound appealing at all, but someone has to do it, right? And that someone is me, since Scott is working at 10:30pm. I took a break from the madness to relax in our second bedroom, and paruse my long forgotten art books. It’s been forever since I’ve gazed upon them, admiring the works of Salvador Dali & Daniel Merriam, two of my most favorite artists. Randall, now called Dandall (Scott gave him that name, and we’ve sort of adapted it as his new name, unless he is in trouble), came to hang out with me.
My bookcase is filled with so man different types of books. From sappy romance novels (enter Nora Roberts & Brenda Joyce here), to Horror (Stephen King & Anne Rice), to Theatrical (plays, design, & text books), to Harry Potter or old show books of mine (meaning my stage management books).
Dandall & I had a great time. We always do! What’s in your book case? Who are your favorite artists?

Love the boots, love Dali, love the dog! Get well soon, Kirstin!
Kirsten–that smile in the last photo makes me hope you’re feeling better. My bookshelves are mostly full of travelogues–to all sorts of exotic places and written in the past.
Boots are adorable! So is the dog, what kind is he/she? Soo cute!
Love the grey cardi
