Friend Friday: New Year, New Blog, New You…Resolutions & Goals for 2011

1. What’s the one thing you vow to learn or do in 2011 to improve your blog? 
I really want to improve my blog by connecting with other bloggers more often, and to continue to change up my content instead of just doing constant outfit posts (though I do adore them). I also want to learn more about editing html and possibly hosting my blog myself.

2. What did you learn about blogging in 2010 that you plan to put into practice next year? 
Oh my goodness, I learned so much!! I just started this blog back in October of this year, and already I have begun practicing what I’ve learned. It is really important to establish a relationship with your readers. I am constantly reading my readers blogs, amongst the many other blogs that I follow. I try to comment as much as possible, with real, friendly comments instead of just the generic “love your blog, please follow me” comment. I’ve come out of my shyness shell and joined to support an amazing blogger and learned unity and better teamwork with teamkristy. I definitely plan on constantly learning and continuing to put myself out there.

3. Do you have any high-level goals for your blog in the coming year? Monetization? More comments? More connections with other bloggers? A new template? 
I have many, many goals for my blog. I definitely want more connections with other bloggers. I love the relationships I’ve built in just two short months through this blog. I am happy with my template for right now, but who knows, things may change in a few months!! My biggest goal is that I would love to create and gain monetization through my blog. I really enjoy blogging and reading other blogs, and to be able to earn money for it would be the most amazing thing I could ask for. 

4. If you could collaborate with one other blogger within your sphere of influence in 2011, who would you like to collaborate with, and what would you like to collaborate on? 
Wow, what a question!!! There are so many bloggers that I would be so honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with. It’s really hard to say who I would want to collaborate with, because I would honestly be excited to collaborate with any blogger!

5. What do you plan to do to support other bloggers next year?
I want to get involved more. I feel like I need to get my voice out there and support other bloggers instead of just being a quiet voice on the side lines. I really feel that participation is key to building wonderful, long-term, successful relationships with other bloggers.
