I am really excited for my second Friend Friday post!! I am really enjoying posting these questions and answer sets. For more, please visit Modlychic.
1. Your favorite holiday memory:
My brother and I were really young, and I remember barely sleeping, and waiting with him for Santa Claus to come. We waited until after we heard the rustling in the living room (boy, were we excited), and then we ran out into the living room. I remember we stared at the beautifully lit tree and all the gifts for a really long time (it felt like forever), until we felt it was time to wake up our parents (maybe around 6 am?). That was awesome.
2. Were you ever a victim of those family Christmas party photo
shoots? What do you think about them now? Care to share an old photo?
My family is not very big on large photo shoots during the Holidays, just during special occasions. My ultimate favorite Holiday picture is of a friend of mine and myself when we were wee ones, sitting with Santa Claus. I think we were maybe 3 or 4 years old? It’s really cute. When I find it, I will definitely post it!!
3. Best Christmas gift you ever gave:
Hmmm..This is a hard one, because I love every gift I have given….
4. Craziest/funniest holiday family tradition:
My mom and I do what I would call an annual Baking Extravaganza, where we bake a ton of cookies and candies for Christmas. This year, I ended up only helping out at the tale end of it, but my mom is a real trooper. She began baking on Monday, and we finished baking yesterday. She made pecan crescent cookies (amazing), oatmeal cookies with crasins, Sugar cookies – some with kisses, some iced, some with sprinkles…all delicious!, little balls with chopped walnuts in them (my fav), and we made chocolate chip cookies, and ohio state buckeye candies (little peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate – yum!).
5. Favorite type of Christmas cookie:
My favorite Christmas Cookie are these little ball things with chopped walnuts in them dusted with powered sugar. They are so delicious. My mom makes them every year, and I swear, if I had the chance (and wouldn’t get sick from too many cookies), I would eat the whole batch!

Oh, I loved your anwsers to these questions! They really reminded me of Christmas memories I have of when I was a little girl! Waiting for my parents to wake up on Christmas morning was always the worst (still is!)
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, and I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
