This dress makes me feel like I’m a little girl, playing dress up as a princess. It’s been years since I’ve done that, and when I found this dress, I had to have it. I always used to wear dressed my grandmother or my mother would make for me, and it was always so much fun. Sometimes, it’s fun to go back and pretend to be a little girl again, living in a fantasy world. So I was excited to get dressed up in my pretty pink lace dress and pin my hair up, and try out my new eye liner brush that my old friend Keiko Lynn recommended in her recent make up monday post. I am still trying to do that whole winged eyeliner thing that she can do so well, but I make a mess of my eyes, so I just decided to go simple today. Overall, I was pleased with what came out of it (considering I am not too good at make up, I was pretty proud of myself!!).
Today was my last day of my Thanksgiving break from work, and I both sad and happy about it. Sad, because I can’t go to bed when I want to and sleep until I want, and be able to get dressed up as I please. Happy because I am 18.5 days away from my two week winter break! And that’s enough to make a girl smile
